Position Overview:
NYULFC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible REI physician for a full-time surgical coverage role. This position does not include a patient panel, clinic hours, or continuity of care responsibilities — it is dedicated to OR-based procedural coverage and associated call.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform transvaginal oocyte retrievals
Perform embryo transfers
Perform D&Cs and related gynecologic procedures as needed
Take call for urgent/after-hours retrievals, transfers, and related procedures on a rotating basis
Coordinate with the anesthesiologists, embryology lab, surgical and recovery teams to ensure smooth OR flow
Maintain procedural documentation and case logs per NYULFC protocol
Qualifications:
MD/DO with REI fellowship training; Board Certified or Board Eligible in REI
Active or eligible NY medical license
Demonstrated OR proficiency in ART procedures
Ability to commit to a full-time OR block schedule plus rotating call
Schedule:
Full-time, dedicated OR schedule + call rotation (no clinic), may include weekend coverage
Part-time schedules may be considered
