Description

We are an Endocrinology practice located in Pleasanton. We are looking to hire FNP/PA for our practice with primary care and endocrinology focus. The Endocrine FNP/PA will provide specialty level endocrine / diabetes care in the outpatient clinical setting. The FNP/PA is also expected to support the Medical Weight Loss. 

Primary Responsibilities in Endocrinology

• Provide specialized care in endocrinology and diabetes management in an outpatient setting.
• Utilize advanced decision-making skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine disorders.
• Collaborate with supervising endocrinologists to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Manage physician In-Basket tasks and provide clinical support to the medical team.
• Support medical weight loss programs, including patient assessment, education, and ongoing management.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards in medical procedures.

Requirements

Masters Degree in Nursing with focus on Adult NP/Family Practice

License, Certification, Registration:

• Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (California)
• Nurse Practitioner Certificate (California)
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support
• Nurse Practitioner National Certificate
• National Provider Identifier 
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) license preferred
• Must have DEA Licensure by first day of work
