Enhance Your Leadership Career in Endocrinology at Dartmouth HealthDartmouth Health seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Endocrinology team as an Advanced Practice Provider Lead to provide endocrinology care at our academic medical center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The Section of Endocrinology is an interprofessional academic group specializing in providing holistic, patient-centered, and relationship-based care while shaping the future of the healthcare workforce.
Working as part of a team is essential for this position. Prior advanced practice experience in endocrinology is required.
The candidate hired into this role will perform the clinical duties of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) while leading and managing other APP personnel in clinical, research, and educational arenas to support the mission and vision of the department and the health system. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and development.
The APP Lead will report directly to the Endocrinology Section Chief and to the Dartmouth Health Office of Advanced Practice Providers as a department representative. The APP Lead will also be expected to collaborate with other members of the endocrinology leadership team, including the Nurse Manager and Practice Manager.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA program and national certification by the NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC
- Ability to obtain/maintain New Hampshire licensure
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- Five years of clinical experience preferred
