The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, seeks a full-time Physician Assistant at the Instructor rank to join the Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Applicants must be a PA eligible for licensure in Oregon. The successful applicant will possess the clinical expertise necessary to practice a broad range of patient care in collaboration with multiple OHSU departments, including radiation oncology, surgical oncology, urology, pharmacy, and palliative care. Successful applicants will have the potential for academic accomplishment.
Clinical responsibilities will include providing outstanding clinical practice and administration within the full range of gynecologic oncology outpatient services. The primary duties include direct patient care in the ambulatory setting, providing care for gynecologic oncology patients. The spectrum of care includes pre-op and post-operative care, symptom management associated with oncology treatments, oncology surveillance/survivorship care, pain management, and end-of-life care.
This position includes participation in teaching and training medical students, residents, and eventually fellows in accordance with the teaching mission of OHSU and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
