Description

Fort HealthCare/Fort Medical Group, Department of Orthopaedics, seeks a full-time Orthopaedic Physician Assistant. Working with a collegial group of three Orthopaedic surgeons and one Physician Assistant in a state of the art hospital, the PA manages patients under the clinical guidance and supervision of the orthopedic surgeons. There is the opportunity to work independently in the clinical and hospital setting, while also assisting the surgeons in surgery. The PA will assure efficiency in the day to day operations of the Orthopaedic service, and function as a respected member of the team.



Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Must take and pass a National Certification examination. Complete 100 hours of CME every two years; take and pass national recertification exam every ten years. Maintain Wisconsin license upon hire; re-licensure as needed. PA-C, prescriptive authority required.
  • BLS certification required.
